Chris Pringle is one of the most famous cricketers to have played for New Zealand in the 80s and 90s, and the reason for this is that the player burst unexpectedly onto the cricketing with a lot of gusto and skill that managed to leave quite a lot of people, and certainly New Zealand, gaping in shock at the total mastery Pringle had over the game. He debuted for Test in a 1990 match against Pakistan and gained fame in this match for being one of the better players on the New Zealand Team. He also had the honor of representing Auckland in the State Championship held between 1989 and 1998, where he became known throughout New Zealand as one of the best players in New Zealand.

Early Life
Chris Pringle was born on 26th January 1968, in Auckland, Zealand, a place that seems to be the birthplace of more than most of the famous cricketers in New Zealand, on a day which proved to be the birthday of one of the very legends of New Zealand Cricketing.
An unexpected fact about this cricketer is that he played one of his first ODI matches without being picked for the team. While Pringle was in England, he got the immense opportunity of being able to play for the visiting New Zealand when most of the bowlers were injured or unable to play.
International Career
His test debut was made playing against Pakistan in Karachi, in the 1990-’91 season, and had the best figures in his third test, being 11-152. He went on to become one of the most famous ODI cricketers in the entirety of New Zealand, as he became the first No.11 batsman to top score for his team.
